Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is a minimally invasive procedure that involves the replacement of a diseased aortic valve with a man-made valve. Additionally, we have performed nine heart transplants and three lung transplants in one month. MGM Healthcare is proud to announce that Dr. KR Balakrishnan and his team have performed 12 transplants just in the month of May. We are humbled to say that this is, by far, the largest number of transplants performed in a month by any hospital in India, the Middle East, or South Asia.
