Clinics and Institutes OBESITY AND METABOLIC SURGERY The Clinic for Obesity and Metabolic Surgery was founded in 2012 as the first specialist clinic in Germany to deal exclusively with the treatment of these diseases. The goal of achieving a unique quality through structuring and a high number of cases was implemented extremely quickly. OTORHINOLARYNGOLOGY The specialist field of ear, nose and throat medicine is managed as an inpatient department at the Sana Klinikum Benrath. This means that resident ear, nose and throat specialists treat and operate on their patients here and use the infrastructure such as operating theatres, employees and inpatient care. ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY AND RHYTHMOLOGY Cardiac arrhythmias are a very common problem in Europe. Many people are affected by cardiac arrhythmia. As a teaching hospital of the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, it has all modern diagnostic options.
