The surgical clinic guarantees basic and standard surgical care as well as emergency and acute surgery for the island of Rügen. The main focus of the clinic is accident and joint surgery, and endoprosthetics are also very important. GYNECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS The specialist treatment spectrum of obstetrics includes all problem cases throughout pregnancy (currently up to the 22nd week of pregnancy). With our team of registered midwives, we strive for a physiological birth with you. In gynaecology, the focus is on special surgical methods for removing the uterus, cancer therapy and urinary incontinence, in addition to general conservative and surgical treatment methods. PEDIATRICS AND YOUTH MEDICINE The children's clinic of the Sana Hospital Rügen ensures the basic and standard care for all small patients on the island. More than 1,100 patients are treated in our clinic every year. A hospital stay is always a very stressful exceptional event for children and their parents - characterized by worries and fears.
