Dr. Naveen Chandra is a renowned cardiologist at Columbia Asia Hospital - Whitefield, and has more than 12 years of experience in interventional cardiology. He has vast experience in complex coronary interventions, primary coronary interventions, device closures, and pacemaker and device implantations. He also has abundant experience performing peripheral vascular and venous interventions includes carotid artery interventions. Dr. Naveen Chandra completed MBBS at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, and he gained his MD-Internal medicine at the KMC Mangalore, Manipal University. After several years of experience, he obtained his DM-Cardiology at the IPGMER, Kolkata, and he did FSCAI at the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Moreover, Dr. Naveen is also well trained in cardiovascular imaging procedures like IVUS (intravascular ultrasound), OCT (optical coherence tomography), and FFR (fractional flow reserve). He has evinced a keen interest in teaching the subject of cardiology as well as research in the said field. He has to his credit more than 30 scientific publications in reputed indexed national and international journals. In addition to his work, he has also been presenting numerous papers in national and international conferences from his graduation days, which has fetched him many awards.
