The aim of their treatment, in addition to treating the acute illness, is to improve the patient’s living situation and maintain the greatest possible degree of independence, if possible in the home environment while maintaining self-determination and dignity. For patients who do not need a 24-hour medical check-up, their day clinic with twelve places is an attractive alternative to a hospital stay. SPEECH THERAPY Speech therapy is the diagnosis and therapy of language, speech, voice and swallowing disorders. The aim of treatment for disorders in language processing and programming is to produce and understand spoken and written language again. In the case of disorders of speech motor skills, movement planning and control as well as vocalization, the focus is on improving the quality and comprehensibility of speech.
